Hi Alan. I don't know if your much of a reader, but I'm reading a book at the moment called 'walking home' by Lynn schooler. It is about a guy hiking through the Alaskan wilderness. Lots of natural history, especially birds, and bits of regular history. I'd recommend it if your bored. If you do read it, let me know what you think. Richard
